Muff Diver Charters has been providing families and anglers many happy and fun filled fishing trips from Ocean City, Maryland to Virginia Beach, Virginia to Hatteras and Morehead City, North Carolina for the past 28 years. We troll, chum, chunk or bottom fish. We use dead rigged bait as well as lures when trolling. We use the appropriate bait when we bottom fish, chunk or chum. Normally, while trolling we use 8 to 10 rods. When we hook a Marlin, we normally clear all the other lines and concentrate on the task at hand - catching the Marlin! We provide all the tackle and bait for the trip but you may bring your own weapon of choice.

June through October we are fishing from Sunset Marina Slip D-5 in Ocean City, MD. June is prime Mako and Thrasher Shark time along with Slammer Bluefish. In the first couple of weeks Yellowfin Tuna appear in the canyons if the water temperature is good - above 66F. The last couple of weeks in June the large Bluefin Tuna start to show up. July, August, September and October you can expect to catch Blue and White Marlin, an occasional Sailfish or Spearfish, Swordfish, Tuna, Dolphin, Shark, False Albacore, Sea Bass and Tilefish to name several. September through October is great Wahoo fishing in Ocean City.

November through February we are fishing from Virginia Beach Fishing Center in Virginia Beach, VA. During this period of time we are fishing for Striped Bass (Rockfish). We are allowed to take two per man per day and the fishing is spectacular in both the bay and ocean. We have 1/2, 3/4 and whole day fishing trips. March through May we are fishing from the Hatteras Harbor Marina in Hatteras, NC. Hatteras is the closest point to the Gulf Stream - less than 20 miles offshore. You will see a color and temperature change like no other place you have ever been. As we move from the green water to the indigo blue you can feel it in your bones - it's gonna happen. Flying fish everywhere and many times you get to see the Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo and Marlin in hot pursuit of the bait. Snap, snap, snap goes the rigger pins and hooked up are several large Dolphin with the rest of the school following them to the boat. It is Mai-Mai bailing time !!! We usually have good catches of Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Sailfish and Marlin It is a wonderful place to fish, come check it out!
